Regensburg is a city in south-east Germany. In the english literature it is often called Ratisbon, for the French colleagues it is Ratisbonne while it is Ratisbona in the Italian, Portuguese and Albanian language. With over 140,000 inhabitants, Regensburg is the fourth-largest city in Bavaria. The medieval centre of Regensburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It owns the largest medieval old town north of the Alps.
